With the official launch of Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, Microsoft has rolled out a series of related accessories on its official store. Among these is the Surface version of the Arc Touch Mouse, which appears as a new entry-level product. Additionally, to complement this Arc Touch Mouse, Microsoft has specifically developed a custom Windows 8.1 app for it.

This app is now available in the Windows Store, and after Win8.1 users download and install it, they can use it to adjust various parameters of the Arc Touch Mouse, including the number of lines scrolled by the mouse wheel to quickly flip pages according to user habits; enabling or disabling the mouse's sound and vibration; adjusting the intensity of the mouse's sound and vibration, as well as regulating DPI strength.

The Surface version of the Arc Touch Mouse, like the previous Arc Touch Mouse released by Microsoft, features an arched design that is simple and elegant while ensuring comfort when held. It uses BlueTrack technology to ensure precise mouse tracking and can connect via Bluetooth 3.0 with the Surface and other laptops.

It is reported that the Surface version of the Arc Touch Mouse is priced at $69.99 and is currently available for sale in the U.S. and Canada, with plans to roll out to other global markets in the coming months.
