With the reform and opening-up as well as the economic growth, modern campuses are no longer what they used to be in the 1950s and 1960s. College students falling in love has become a common phenomenon, and couples showing affection in public is no longer considered abnormal behavior. Although love can make one drunk with happiness and improve one's work and life, on the other hand, immature attitudes towards dating can also have some negative effects on relationships. Every year in various campuses, there are incidents of students jumping off buildings or cutting their wrists due to breakups or others' emotional reasons. Therefore, the Campus Culture Department of China Jiliang University's Zero Point Investigation Association conducted a survey on "College Students' Views on Love", hoping to identify problems, find causes, and help college students establish correct views on love. This survey targeted nine major universities in Hangzhou, namely Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology, China Jiliang University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Zhejiang Media College, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou Normal University, and Zhejiang Financial Vocational College. Through door-to-door surveys and sampling methods such as stratified sampling, questionnaires were randomly distributed. A total of 1300 questionnaires were distributed, among which 1173 were valid, accounting for 90.23%. We used all 1173 questionnaires for data analysis during the summer vacation and utilized SPSS 10.0 sociology statistics software for statistical analysis of the data to draw conclusions. Based on the survey results, we propose some relevant suggestions for the reference of our fellow students.
