At the evening of September 13, Beijing time, Twitter released the Spotify version of the Twitter Music application on Thursday.

In April this year, Twitter launched its music service, Twitter #music, in the form of a Web and iOS application. The music tracks come from iTunes, Spotify, and Rdio, with plans to continue adding other music service providers in the future.

Twitter stated that this service will completely change the way people search for music on Twitter. It will search for the most popular music tracks and new artists based on the user's Twitter activity.

On Thursday this week, Twitter also launched the Spotify version of Twitter Music. Similar to the iOS application, the Spotify version allows users to search for music tracks based on the popularity of artists and songs on Twitter.

Compared to the Web version, the Spotify version offers faster speeds when playing songs and adding them to playlists, and there is no need to be a premium paying Spotify user. (Li Ming)
