PuTTY Windows Phone port is currently under development, bringing the SSH client to the small screen.

PuTTY is a well-known Telnet and SSH client that allows users to remotely connect to servers and devices via command line to execute commands or perform operations. A developer announced on Reddit that they are currently porting the PuTTY client to Windows Phone 8, but there will be no support for Windows Phone 7.

The developer also provided a preview screenshot, showing a keyboard customized specifically for the PuTTY client. This keyboard is slightly smaller than the standard on-screen keyboard. It’s unclear whether this custom keyboard will pass the app review process. The developer stated that the PuTTY for Windows Phone 8 app will be released for free, with an option for sponsorship.
