Today, a foreign media outlet has revealed the true appearance of the Arirang phone (model number AS1201). From the real device images, it can be seen that it likely runs on the Android system and appears to have a squarish design.
Regarding the AS1201 phone, some analysts believe that it is probably manufactured by a Chinese subcontractor and then shipped to North Korea for final packaging. Moreover, this device is unlikely to be targeted at ordinary North Korean users.
