Starting this week, Facebook has begun collaborating with the restaurant reservation site OpenTable to provide mobile users with dining reservation services, covering both iOS and Android users.

According to the cooperation agreement, users can directly make reservations on the Facebook pages of twenty thousand restaurants in North America without needing to visit other mobile sites or open another app for related operations.

Users who need to make a reservation can simply use their mobile device to access the Facebook page of the corresponding restaurant. Through the "nearby locations" function or the restaurant's fan page, they can directly book a table on OpenTable, which is embedded with these Facebook features.

In February this year, OpenTable launched an application called "Places I've Eaten on Facebook," allowing consumers to list and review the restaurants they have visited and share this information with friends on social media.

In addition, OpenTable is also testing a payment application that allows diners to pay their bills directly, eliminating the hassle of waiting for receipts.
