August 11th, Beijing time - Microsoft cannot come to terms with the fact that Windows RT is dead. It continues to compare itself with iPad through advertisements in an attempt to gain consumer favor.

Reports claim that Microsoft is in a bind. Although Windows RT has reached its end, Microsoft still has a large stockpile of Surface RT devices in its warehouses. Even though the outcome has been decided, Microsoft continues its fearless battle with Apple, strongly scorning the more successful iPad. Recently, Microsoft aired another television advertisement comparing the Surface RT with the iPad. Of course, the conclusion was that the Surface RT emerged victorious.

As with previous advertisements, Microsoft highlighted many areas where the Surface RT surpasses the iPad and iOS. In many aspects, Microsoft wasn't wrong. The Surface RT does have numerous advantages, and at first glance, Windows RT seems more advanced and efficient than iOS. However, the sense of innovation offered by the Surface RT quickly fades. Additionally, the number of applications available on Windows RT pales in comparison to those on iOS.

Windows RT has been a failure from the start. With Asus having already exited this market, Dell and Microsoft remain the only hardware suppliers for Windows RT. Samsung, HTC, HP, and Lenovo have also abandoned their plans to produce Windows RT tablets.

"This isn't just our opinion," said Jerry Shen, CEO of Asus. "The entire industry believes that Windows RT hasn't been very successful."

On this basis, support for Windows RT quickly dried up. Windows RT products will soon disappear, and the developers it currently has will rapidly leave, leaving consumers with a product that is forever outdated.
