Lumia 1020 will officially hit the domestic market on August 15. At that time, Nokia will join forces with Suning and China Unicom to hold a launch event in Nanjing, where Suning will simultaneously release the phone.
Now, Suning's official Weibo account has already posted a promotional advertisement for the Lumia 1020: "Lying low does not mean eternal silence. When it returns, it still leaves all others far behind. Nokia 1020, we look forward to your stunning appearance." (And, the advertisement below the page is shining...)
According to Suning, on August 15, they will jointly launch the domestic version of the Lumia 1020 with Nokia and China Unicom, and it will be available for sale both on their official website and at Suning Superstores. The final pricing has not yet been announced, but from the Suning page, there are mentions of "giving away a camera grip" and "returning a 200 yuan universal voucher for the entire store."
It is reported that the domestic version of the Lumia 1020 will come equipped with a 4.5-inch screen, with a resolution of 1280x768 pixels, a body thickness of 10.4mm, powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor and 2GB RAM, featuring a 41 million pixel camera (with 6 Zeiss lenses and optical stabilization technology), basically remaining unchanged from the international version.
