Chrome expert François Beaufort discovered a new Chromium feature: remote control of Chrome for Android tabs.
As shown in the image above, you can directly control the tabs of Chrome for Android from the desktop version of Chromium, such as opening a specific tab, refreshing, or closing a certain tab. All of this happens in real-time, meaning you don't need to touch your Android phone; you can control the Chrome browser on your Android device directly from your computer.
Currently, in the latest version of the Chromium browser, you can enable the "USB Web debugging" lab feature in Chrome Beta for Android, then connect your Android device (with Chrome Beta for Android installed) to your computer via USB. Once connected, go to *chrome://inspect* in your desktop Chromium browser, and you will see the remote control interface as shown in the image above.
