Google announced this week that it will launch its streaming music service, Play Music All Access, outside of the U.S. Users in the UK, eight continental European countries (including Spain, France, and Italy), Australia, and New Zealand will be able to access Google's service.

Play Music All Access is Google's response to streaming music services such as Spotify, Xbox Music, and Rdio. Google is offering a discount to early registrants. Similar to the U.S., users in these regions who sign up before September 15th will pay €7.99 (£7.99 in the UK); otherwise, the price will increase to €9.99 or £9.99.

The functionality of Play Music All Access in these regions is identical to that in the U.S. Users can stream music from Google's music library on any Android device or web browser, and they can also play music that they have uploaded to the cloud storage platform. However, Google still has not launched an iOS app for this service.
