The name of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is probably known by everyone. In comparison, the other co-founder Paul Allen is relatively low-key. However, he is actually a passionate fan of rock music. This week, he released his first solo album - *Everyone At Once*.
The album was jointly created by Allen and his band Paul Allen and the Underthinkers. It contains 13 singles, all of which are rock songs. Currently, the album is available on Amazon and iTunes. A few tracks can be freely downloaded and listened to on their website.
According to the introduction, the 13 songs on the album were basically composed or co-composed by Allen himself. Additionally, the guitar accompaniment in the album was also completed by him. In fact, one of the songs on the album, *Divine*, had already appeared in last year's movie *Magic Mike*.
Allen told *Guitar Aficionado* magazine that he has been fond of rock music since high school. Although he eventually chose the path of technology, rock music has always been a part of his life. His guitar accompanied him through many disheartening days in his life.
Allen is not the only company founder in the tech world who has released a personal rock album. Groupon founder and former CEO Andrew Mason once released a personal album called *Hardly Workin*. However, his slow rock album did not receive much favor from the general music fans. Would you like Paul Allen's *Everyone At Once*?
