A while ago, a security researcher, having nothing better to do, attempted to infiltrate Apple’s Developer Center. After succeeding, he also downloaded some data. Upon discovering this, Apple quickly took the Developer Center offline, resulting in an outage that lasted for 8 days. Last week, the Apple Developer Center became accessible again, and Apple also launched a status-check page where developers could monitor the recovery status of various services in real-time.

Today, Apple has once again issued a notice, planning to fully restore all Developer Center services this week.

Currently, the services still unavailable include Xcode auto-configuration, licensing agreements, technical support, paid developer registration, and renewal functions within the membership center. Apple stated that paid developer status will not expire during the downtime, as the company has automatically extended membership durations. Sales on the App Store were also unaffected. In the notice, Apple apologized for the prolonged downtime and recommended that developers contact the support team if necessary.
