It seemed only a matter of time before HTC followed Samsung in launching a tablet phone (Phablet). Hong Kong tech site ePrice, which previously exposed the One mini, has gotten their hands on the actual device, the One Max; let's hear their feedback.
The HTC One Max, codenamed T6, is easily mistaken for the HTC One at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, differences can be noted: the One Max has narrower bezels. Narrow bezel designs are becoming increasingly popular.
ePrice says that the One Max has already been tested domestically and will come in three carrier-customized versions. Considering the design used for the domestic version of the HTC One, the domestic version of the One Max may also feature a removable back cover, support dual SIM cards, but with a non-removable battery.
The CPU will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 chipset, with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and support for MicroSD card expansion. The main camera uses an UltraPixel sensor, supports optical image stabilization, the front-facing camera is 2.1 megapixels, and the battery capacity is 3300 mAh.
Other features include a stylus for use with the large screen, and a fingerprint scanner located on the back of the device, allowing users to unlock the phone with their fingerprint. The most surprising news is that the One Max may run Android 5.0; I think this is unlikely, but I still look forward to seeing Android 5.0's performance sooner.
