Bill Gates officially "retired" on the 27th to dedicate himself to charity work. Gates' departure means that the 12 "founding members" from Microsoft's early entrepreneurial days have now all left the company.

Thirty years ago, 11 of these "founding members" of Microsoft took a united group photo at a large shopping center in New Mexico, USA. Thirty years later, just a few days before Gates retired, he reunited with his former colleagues from 30 years ago near Microsoft's headquarters in Seattle, Washington, to retake a meaningful new group photo.
