Bill Gates decided to retire at the age of 52 and only serve as non-executive chairman. Gates said that he would donate his entire $58 billion fortune to the charitable foundation named after him and his wife, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and would not leave a single penny to his own children. Gates regards his huge wealth as a great privilege, but also a great responsibility.
