Intel teams up with several manufacturers to build 200 network classrooms in disaster areas

June 23 news, Intel Chairman Barrett visited the disaster area of Pengzhou, Sichuan. He jointly launched the "Intel i-world program" with the People's Government of Sichuan Province. It was announced that the reconstruction would use all the RMB 35 million yuan recently added by Intel for this plan, to build 200 computer network classrooms based on advanced technology in eight severely affected counties and cities, introduce Intel's future education project, and rely on the strength of volunteer teams to continuously support the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction work.
