Success in entrepreneurship depends on wisdom!
On the campus network, a girl left me a message asking whether she should start a business right after graduation or work for two years before starting. After reading her message, I replied to her seriously. From my personal perspective and experience, I suggested that she be ready for entrepreneurship at all times, first working hard in a company, accumulating experience and capital for entrepreneurship, while constantly looking for new projects and opportunities in her work. Only in this way can risks be reduced to a minimum.
Entrepreneurship requires impulse, but more importantly, it requires wisdom. Because sometimes impulses can lead you to failure faster. Impulse is just the spring before entrepreneurship, allowing you to take the first bold step. The most important thing in entrepreneurship is wisdom, which means strategy. You need long-term planning, early preparation, paying attention to opportunities and projects around you, having confidence to seize opportunities.
Looking back on more than four years of wandering life, I have always been pursuing success, always looking for opportunities. I dare say I have enough courage to start a business, but almost every time I fail. I have the impulse to start a business, but I lack the strategy for entrepreneurship, so failure is natural. Success needs impulse, but more importantly, it needs wisdom.
The current entrepreneurial project I have chosen: China's largest online accounting platform, Caike Online (www.coko365.com). Based on previous failures, I slowly summarized experience, gradually seized opportunities, and grasped them. Wisdom is everywhere in operations. If wisdom is lacking, even the best projects and opportunities won't help much.
What kind of wisdom does entrepreneurship need?
1. The wisdom to choose and analyze projects
If the choice is inappropriate, it may be destined to fail from the beginning. Choosing a good project requires strategic vision, not just a simple feverish mind. It needs rational analysis and market research based on experience. Often choosing a good project gives hope for success. I chose Caike Online because there are few people willing to do online accounting in China, few people are willing to engage in this market, and it belongs to a niche industry.
2. The wisdom to seize opportunities
Opportunities come without warning. If an opportunity arises and is not seized, it may mean no chance for success. So before the opportunity comes, one must pay attention everywhere and seize the opportunity at all times. When there is no opportunity, one needs to create it. For example, Caike Online was founded on February 10, 2006, and until 2007, there was little significant development, mainly due to the lack of opportunities. In 2007, we encountered an opportunity, so we developed rapidly. Because in 2007 and 2008, prices in China soared, more and more people joined Caike Online for online accounting, more and more media supported and reported on Caike Online, and more and more people began to pay attention to and understand Caike Online. Why did the media and members focus on Caike Online instead of other online accounting websites? Because we at Caike Online seized the opportunity. In 2007, we changed our server and made technical improvements and product enhancements in various aspects to welcome the arrival of the opportunity. A competitor failed to anticipate the rapid development and large-scale traffic, resulting in the website server crashing.
3. The wisdom to win the market
The market is right in front of us, how to win the market is very important. Capturing the market is something that must be faced and achieved. Without wisdom in this process, one can only watch as the market is taken by competitors. In the development process of Caike Online, we often competed directly or indirectly with our rivals for the market. We adopted many strategies and measures. For example, we launched the "Caike Promotion" column, aiming to let more members and netizens help us promote the market. Because relying solely on our own strength would not allow us to expand the market. So we learned from others' ideas - a policy where everyone participates, making netizens and members become our promoters and marketers. Currently, Caike Online has nearly 100,000 registered members, and its rapid development and member aggregation are due to the support and assistance of a large number of members.
