China Telecom ADSL "crazy" speed upgrade, China Ningbo Network/News Center

China Telecom has selected Alcatel Shanghai Bell to upgrade the existing broadband network in 26 provinces and cities in China. The upgraded network speed will be triple of the traditional ADSL. China Telecom will deploy relevant solutions of Alcatel Shanghai Bell in 18 provinces and cities in South China region and 8 provinces and cities in North China region, including Guangdong, Shanghai, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Fuzhou, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia and other provinces and cities. Alcatel Shanghai Bell announced yesterday (July 7) to the reporter.
