Liu Xiang's 110m hurdles world record is broken

Beijing, June 13 (early morning) - Cuban athlete Dayron Robles, 21, ran the men's 110-meter hurdles in 12.87 seconds at the Ostrava Grand Prix in the Czech Republic, breaking the original world record of 12.88 seconds set by Liu Xiang two years ago. Liu Xiang established the previous world record in 2006 during the Lausanne Grand Prix in Switzerland.
