Just before the high-profile release of Firefox 3, Mozilla staff member DRIA wrote this authoritative and comprehensive "Guide to New Features in Firefox 3." This article systematically introduces the improvements in Firefox 3, complete with explanatory images and links to more detailed special introductions. Use Good Software has called on netizens to translate it, and some images have been replaced. The following is shared.
**Add-on Manager**
In Firefox 3, the Add-ons Manager has been expanded to include a new "Get Add-ons" tab. On this tab, you can browse the most popular add-ons, search for new ones, view their descriptions and ratings, and install them with just a simple click. The Add-ons Manager is now fully integrated with the addons.mozilla.org (AMO) website, making it easier than ever to find and try out new browser extensions and themes. **Bookmarks**
Firefox 3 introduces a set of new bookmark features that are easier for beginners to get started with, more useful for regular users, and highly beneficial for users whose bookmarks bar is very cluttered. The three main features are the introduction of star bookmarks, bookmark tagging, and smart bookmark folders.
Star bookmarks provide a quick and easy way to bookmark web pages with just a single click. Bookmark tagging is a method of adding "extra" information, allowing you to organize your bookmarks in a more flexible way. Smart bookmark folders are a kind of "saved search". When you add new bookmarks that match this search, they will automatically update.

**Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)**
A large number of CSS improvements have been made in Firefox 3, including support for inline-block and inline-table, font size adjustment across all platforms, :default pseudo-class, HTML soft hyphens (HTML soft hyphens), IME mode, white-space’s pre-wrap value. Additionally, dynamic updates of CSS selectors such as :first-child, :only-child, :last-child, and :empty have been implemented. The Mozilla Developer Center has a complete list of all CSS changes in Firefox 3, which you can access here: CSS Improvements in Firefox 3.
**Color Profile Support**
Firefox 2 did not include color profile management but instead rendered colors based on the user's system or custom color profiles, lacking targeted optimization. Firefox 3 now includes full support for color profiles, enabling the browser to display richer and more vibrant colors. Considering various factors, color profiling is turned off by default and requires users to define browser options to enable it. Perhaps future versions of Firefox will make this feature default, undoubtedly becoming a day of joy for photographers and visual artists alike.

**Download Manager**
The Download Manager in Firefox 3 has been greatly improved, now including revisit functionality to manually or automatically pause and resume download items. Other improvements include the addition of a download status indicator in the status bar at the bottom of the window, a new search function for downloaded files in the Download Manager, enhanced file displays to show more file information, and the ability to access the original download page of a file through a right-click menu in the Download Manager.
