Unlike Apple, Microsoft will not introduce a smartphone under its own brand, but believes that the sales of phones using Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system will surpass those of Apple's iPhone and RIM's BlackBerry in the future. Apple's "Worldwide Developers Conference" (WWDC) will take place this coming Monday in San Francisco. There have been reports that at this WWDC, Apple will officially release its 3G version of the iPhone. In response to this, Bach stated: "We believe the sales of Windows Mobile phones will surpass those of the iPhone and BlackBerry. Microsoft will not introduce a smartphone under its own brand, now or in the future."
