Mysterious footprints show humans reached the Americas 40,000 years ago

A latest research shows that humans were already roaming in the central area of today's Mexico approximately 40,000 years ago. By analyzing some footprints left on the volcanic ash in the Valsequillo Basin in central Mexico, the researchers confirmed that humans had set foot on the American continent as early as 40,000 years ago.
