American grandma survived for nearly 60 years on account of an iron lung, but died because of unexpected power outage.

According to the UK's Independent, American woman Diane Audle, who contracted polio as a child, has been relying on a manual respirator (commonly known as an iron lung) to sustain her life for 60 years. Recently, she stopped breathing due to a sudden power failure in the respirator. Her tenacious perseverance allows one to deeply appreciate the preciousness of life.
