The legal dispute between motherboard manufacturers Gigabyte Technology and Asus seems to be over before it even started, as Gigabyte has already agreed to make a public apology. The dispute between the two manufacturers mainly arose from some "defamatory" comments, and Gigabyte's internal document pointed out that Asus motherboard energy-saving technology was suspected of being fake through product comparison. Asus claimed that it used high-quality components in its motherboard products, integrated EPU energy-saving technology and its DES technology. Asus immediately made a strong counterattack on Gigabyte's comments in the document, and Gigabyte failed to produce independent test results.
