Before we know it, it's already October. Yesterday it suddenly got cold. It's been about a year since Wikipedia was blocked, I wonder how many people still remember it. I think all the knowledgeable individuals should write something about it. Every book that has been burned illuminates the world. This is a famous quote from Emerson, how well said. Of course, I admit that applying this sentence to the internet, saying every blocked network has once illuminated the world, might be a bit of an overstatement because there are indeed some unsavory sites. But Wikipedia, it really did illuminate the world.
It seems like the principle of blocking websites is like this: if there's a new site, it's automatically placed on the blacklist first, then depending on its behavior, it may be unblocked. For example, wordpress.com, because it's a site where anyone can publish anything, so you never know what kind of speech might come out one day, so without any consideration, it gets blocked. This is clearly a typical theory of human nature being evil. Aren't communists supposed to be believers in the theory of human nature being good? Marx, don't you agree?
