A group of Danish scientists announced that they have successfully extracted deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) from 10 Viking skeletons, which are about 1000 years old, for analysis and research. The researchers believe that, if this is true, it will be a world-renowned achievement. Previously, many scholars thought that it was impossible to extract DNA from ancient human remains.
