[Fig.] Apple patents multi-layer LCD technology with built-in solar panels

There is no need to rush to buy a "light energy mobile phone" or wait indefinitely for the commercial use of fuel cells. Apple has just come up with a rather creative solution: place an ultra-thin solar panel under the LCD panel with light-transmitting capabilities.
