Follow-up report: Does Goobuntu have no intention of an external release?

Although the Google spokesman denied the "rumor" that Google will release Goobuntu, we might as well speculate: for commercial interests (it's obvious from the article that Goobuntu is probably not free), Google simply does not want to alert its competitors prematurely, so as to avoid repeating the mistake of releasing Gmail too early and failing to deliver a strong blow to other competitors.
