A 29-year-old woman, Alex Mandoza, from Hove, East Sussex, UK, was seven months pregnant when a fire suddenly broke out in her home. Her abdomen, hands, and feet caught on fire, making her seem like a "fire person." With no other options, she, living on the third floor, had to jump from a height of 7.62 meters while carrying her large belly to escape! Although Alex survived by luck, her abdomen and limbs were severely burned, forcing her to undergo a painful 4-hour skin graft surgery without general anesthesia. Miraculously, after all these hardships, the fetus in Alex's abdomen remained unharmed and was born safely four weeks later! Recently, Alex recounted this miraculous survival experience for the first time and expressed gratitude: "It’s a blessing just to be alive."
