Nowadays, subtitle groups compete comprehensively in terms of film quality, release speed, and translation characteristics, all for the sake of gaining recognition and support from the audience. However, in order to gain more opportunities to showcase their work, these groups often favor popular new releases. Sometimes we find that a particular popular new movie is surrounded by almost all mainstream subtitle groups, and there are even subtitle groups temporarily established for this movie alone, which is indeed a waste of manpower. Meanwhile, some relatively obscure but high-quality movies are overlooked by subtitle groups. Although there are always people on the Internet making efforts for these movies, and even individuals doing subtitles, it is after all a drop in the bucket.
