On February 6, the PTA spot price showed an upward adjustment, while the MEG price trend remained stable and moved upwards. The prices of semi-dull polyester chips and bright polyester chips continued to consolidate, CDP chip prices remained stable, and polyester bottle flake prices slightly increased. Acrylic short fiber 1.5D×38mm and acrylic tow 3D×102mm prices were both adjusted. CPL and nylon-6 chip prices remained temporarily stable. The market for polyester filament yarn still appeared relatively weak, with transactions being quite ordinary. Prices in the market maintained stability, but sales varied among different varieties. In areas such as Shengze, Tongxiang, and Taicang, polyester filament yarn quotes all remained steady for now. For example, a mainstream local factory quoted POY150D/144F at 12,550-12,650 yuan/ton, but actual bulk transaction prices for locally produced semi-dull FDY mainly depended on negotiations between both parties. Currently, due to downstream enterprises still being very cautious in their purchases, trading volumes in the polyester filament yarn market were not large, with almost no bulk transactions. Spinning mills' production and sales situations were uneven, and polyester filament yarn inventories increased. However, under the support of polymerization costs, the short-term confrontation situation in the polyester filament yarn market would continue, likely maintaining stability.
The overall cotton yarn market continued to move forward with fluctuations. From the perspective of variety sales, there was better demand for full cotton yarn 32s, while other specifications were relatively flat. In the blended yarn products, the price of polyester-viscose yarn series products remained stable with slight increases, but trading volumes were not significant. Prices for some specifications of polyester-cotton yarn 90/10 were adjusted upwards. In the pure polyester yarn market, prices for some varieties showed an upward trend. Polyester short fiber prices consolidated, with the latest market central price around 12,550 yuan/ton. It is expected that the pure polyester yarn market will have a moderate adjustment trend in the future. The rayon yarn market showed continued growth, with larger trading volumes for 30s. Viscose short fiber prices in the market rose, currently averaging 17,800 yuan/ton. It is expected that the rayon yarn market will continue to show an upward adjustment trend in the future.
