On the morning of March 6, SAN, Longchamp Bags Cheap, JD.com (microblogging) Group announced its latest appointments today, naming former vice president of finance, Jiang Chensheng, as the group's first CFO. Chen Shengjiang joined JD.com in April 2007, serving as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance. He is an EMBA graduate from China Europe International Business School. In 2012, JD.com intensified its recruitment of airborne executives, with Wang Yaqing as CTO and Lan Ye as CMO successively taking their positions. Liu Qiangdong, CEO of JD.com, stated that the company also focuses on training and selecting talent internally; appointing former Vice President of Finance, Chen Shengjiang, as CFO fully demonstrates the maturity of JD.com’s personnel training and selection mechanisms.
In planning the core management team of JD.com Group, founder and CEO Liu Qiangdong has said that five posts will be established in total: COO, CTO, CMO, CFO, and CHO. Currently, the positions of COO, CTO, CMO, and CFO have been decided. Since the third round of financing was completed in 2011, JD.com has determined that 2012 will be a year of rapid development with the largest investment ever. JD.com expects to recruit more than 25,000 people in 2012, marking the largest personnel expansion in its history.
