Woman deflates tires of 60 cars for thrill-seeking

For seeking thrills, a young woman in Chizhou city actually scratched off the car paint and burst the tires in the public parking lots and residential areas many times. The reporter learned from the Guichi Branch of Chizhou Public Security Bureau yesterday that the criminal suspect had been captured. Recently, the police station in Guichi Branch received reports from some residents in Chizhou urban area successively, saying that their vehicles parked at night were scratched or the tires were broken. While the police was investigating this case, on December 25th and 26th, similar cases happened again in some public parking lots in Chizhou urban area. After checking the video surveillance data near the crime scene, the police confirmed that the suspect was a young woman. The Criminal Investigation Team gave feedback on this situation to all police stations in the main urban area, requiring strengthening control work. At about 11:00 a.m., December 26th, the police station in Chikou gave feedback on an information that a suspicious woman was found in front of a hotel in its jurisdiction whose physical characteristics were similar with those of the criminal suspect. Then the investigators took the woman back to the Criminal Investigation Team for investigation. Upon investigation, it was found that Xiao's image in the video taken from the crime scene was consistent. After intensive interrogation, the suspect finally confessed the crime. When committing the crime, she used the knife carried with her to scratch off the paint of vehicles in various residential areas and hotels in Chizhou urban area and burst the tires of nearly sixty sedans. The reporter learned from the police in Guichi yesterday that Xiao had been placed under criminal detention by the police according to law for being suspected of deliberately destroying properties.
