Liu Zhanhui returns to the Home for Honored Elders to serve the elderly "Zhanhui, you're here! We've missed you so much!" On September 21st, when Liu Zhanhui, a teacher from Changshou Middle School in Xinzhi City, arrived at the Xinzhi City Home for Honored Elders with fruits and his student volunteers, Ms. Zhang Shijie, an elder over 60 years old, was moved to tears, holding onto Mr. Liu's hand unwillingly to let go.

Mr. Liu said that he was an orphan, raised in the Home for Honored Elders since childhood by the grandpas and grandmas, uncles and aunts here who nurtured him into adulthood and helped him attend university. Now, he is a teacher at Changshou Middle School in Xinzhi City and also a proud young volunteer. To express gratitude for the Home for Honored Elders' support of over a decade and the care provided by the grandpas and grandmas there, he led his student volunteers to help the elders trim their nails, tidy up their rooms, clean, and wash their hair, hoping to repay the grandpas and grandmas here and give back to society with a grateful heart.

The picture shows Liu Zhanhui trimming the nails of his "grandpas and grandmas" at the Home for Honored Elders.
