"Green and environmental protection" becomes a gimmick. After finishing the decoration of their houses, many citizens have developed the habit of airing them for a while before moving in. In order to reduce pollution in their homes, people all hope to buy green and environmentally friendly furniture when selecting furniture.
The reporter visited several furniture markets in the urban area. In a small storefront selling wardrobe sliding doors, the salesperson claimed: "Rest assured, all the materials here are qualified and green and environmentally friendly." However, he couldn't even provide the product composition table, let alone the green environmental protection inspection certificate.
In another furniture store, two different brands of mattresses both claimed to have green environmental protection marks. One brand had its mark copied on white paper, covered with plastic film, and the certification unit on the stamp was very blurred; the other brand's environmental certification was attached to the back of the manual, sealed in the mattress packaging, so the certification could not be seen unless purchasing the mattress.
"Our furniture is absolutely green and environmentally friendly, but the certificate is in another branch, I don't have it here." When the reporter asked the salesperson for proof of green environmental protection, the salespeople of two stores evaded with the same reason.
