In July 2007, Han lured his close friend Wei (dealt with in a separate case) to "get rich together." Between September 2007 and January 2008, Han committed nine offenses together with Wei and Li, stealing 13.8 kilograms of wig hair, valued at 29,118 yuan.
In November 2006, when Han was 21 years old, he worked at a wig hair factory for six days but quit because he found it too arduous. He continued to stay in the rented house of Jia (already sentenced), who was from the same village and also working at a wig hair factory at the time. One day, Jia said to Han: "Wig hair is quite valuable now. If we could steal some, we could get money to spend. Do you dare to steal?" After considering it briefly, Han agreed. Thus, the two contacted Du (already sentenced), who was then working at a wig hair factory. The three quickly came to an agreement and between November 2006 and January 2007, they stole 6 kilograms of black wig hair in ten different instances, valued at 9,270 yuan.
In April 2007, Han and Jia made contact with Zhu (already sentenced), who recruited his fellow townsman Li (already sentenced). The four colluded to steal wig hair. In just ten days, they stole 3.6 kilograms of various types of wig hair, valued at 7,520 yuan.
