Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba, wanted to conduct an anatomical experiment on a branch of a multinational company, but he found that Yahoo! China was not only a "Chinese company", but even more so than a regular Chinese company. In September 2006, Ma told *China Entrepreneur*, "This has been the toughest year for me, and its impact on my fate and that of Alibaba may only be evaluated after five years or even longer."
