A hot topic at this seminar was the successful case of the Zhangjiang Community Rehabilitation Center using Jitai Tablets to treat patients addicted to methadone. A 42-year-old patient shared his personal experience, stating that he had been addicted to drugs for 17 years and had failed multiple attempts at detoxification. In February 2010, he began taking the traditional Chinese medicine "Jitai Tablets" for two months, supplemented by multiple psychological counseling sessions with Doctor Zhuang Lingyun. He has now successfully overcome his methadone addiction symptoms, truly returning to nature and society. This successful example fully demonstrates the significant effects of "Jitai Tablets" in detoxification and withdrawal treatment. Secretary Sun Anqing, General Director of the Shanghai Ziqiang Social Service General Society and the Shanghai Anti-Drug Volunteer Association, expressed great attention to this, especially after listening to the patient's own introduction. He thoroughly understood the entire process and hoped to timely summarize and promote it, benefiting more patients with addictions.

Deputy General Manager Du Chenjie of the Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. provided a detailed explanation of the "Project Flow Introduction of Efficacy Evaluation and Community-Based Detoxification and Rehabilitation Treatment Model Research Primarily Based on Interventional Treatment with Jitai Tablets" and answered and unified some key issues regarding the specific operations of Topic Three by social workers.

Finally, the anti-drug knowledge competition part aroused great interest among the delegates attending the conference, especially among the broad social workers of the Shanghai Ziqiang Society and the Zhongzhi Society. It not only increased anti-drug knowledge but also enlivened the conference atmosphere, truly achieving the effect of learning through fun.

The successful convening of the 2010 Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Academic Seminar provided a platform for relevant experts, professional social worker organizations, and grassroots social workers to jointly participate and exchange experiences, truly achieving the goal of studying and exchanging community-based detoxification work experiences. It confirmed the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine detoxification in community-based detoxification and rehabilitation, expanded the recognition of Jitai Tablets among patients with addictions, promoted the in-depth development of the National Science and Technology Support Program "Clinical Re-evaluation and Quality Improvement Research of Listed Detoxification Traditional Chinese Medicines," and played a catalytic role in realizing Topic Three of the project, "Efficacy Evaluation and Community-Based Detoxification and Rehabilitation Treatment Model Research Primarily Based on Interventional Treatment with Jitai Tablets."
