But opening the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd sockets must be done under the condition that the first four sockets are already fully opened. The 1st socket requires level 50, the 2nd socket requires level 80 and the 1st socket already opened, and the 3rd socket requires level 105 and the 2nd socket already opened.
2. Gem Acquisition and Synthesis: After creating the sockets, the next step is to embed the gems! First, the new gems are divided into five levels: Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Naturally, the higher the level of the gem, the stronger the attribute bonus. Gems of different levels can be synthesized and upgraded; you can use Level 1 gems to synthesize Level 2 gems, Level 2 gems to synthesize Level 3 gems... and so on. Gem synthesis runes of various levels can be obtained through major game instances, events, boss kills, and monster slaying. If you have embedded lower-level gems and later obtain higher-level ones, don't worry. You can use a gem removal rune at any time to take out the gem and re-embed it.
