The poster stated that Mr. Xu, the party secretary of Yangzhai Town, had just taken office for more than ten days. On the noon of the 23rd, several staff members from the local taxation bureau came, so they went to the canteen for lunch together. Mr. Xu called Mr. Gao Meng, the director of the Finance Office, to join them. The poster said that there were eight or nine people at the table drinking "Mengzhi Lan", and they drank 10 bottles. After drinking, Mr. Gao went to sleep, but unexpectedly, two hours later, someone found that he had already passed away. The county committee specifically formed a post-incident work handling group, with Deputy County Governor Mr. Wang serving as the group leader. On the morning of the 27th, the reporter rushed to the courtyard of the People's Government of Yangzhai Town, Funing County. On the second floor of the Finance Office, a seal had been placed on the door of Mr. Gao's office by the town Discipline Inspection Commission. A staff member of the Finance Office pointed to the government canteen to the west and said that Mr. Gao drank himself to death there. According to a waitress in the canteen, she served the private room where Director Gao was on that day at noon. There were nine people in total, six drinking white wine, one drinking beer, and two not drinking alcohol. She said that Director Gao could drink over a catty of liquor, and that day at noon, the six people drank two bottles of Yanghe "Tianzhi Lan" white wine.
