Exhibition Introduction:

The Central American International Auto Parts, Raw Material Processing, and Aftermarket Service Trade Show (PAACE Automechanika Mexico) is organized by the Atlanta branch of Messe Frankfurt, Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA), Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), and the Mexican INA Trade Organization (Industria Nacional de Autopartes). It has also received sponsorship from 20 well-known domestic and international industry associations, including the Italian International Trade Commission, SERNAUTO Spanish Auto Parts Producers Association, Colombia's ProExport, SINDEPECAS Brazilian Auto Parts Producers Association, and AAPEx. The exhibition focuses on automotive products, including aftermarket and original components, automobile tires, performance parts, remanufactured parts, and related maintenance equipment and tools. In 2011, mainland Chinese companies exhibited a total area of 2,043 square meters, with a total of 208 participating enterprises.

Market Introduction:

The Mexican Automobile Industry Association recently announced that in August, Mexico's automobile sales exceeded 90,000 units, slightly up by 0.3% compared to last August, setting the highest single-month sales record to date. In the first eight months of this year, the cumulative automobile sales in Mexico approached 710,000 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 0.6%. Cesar Flores, chairman of the Mexican Automobile Industry Association, said that based on the current market development trend, achieving the set goal of selling 1.2 million vehicles by the end of the year will not be a problem.

At the same time, Mexico's automobile exports continue to maintain strong growth momentum. In August, export volume reached 136,000 units, increasing by 38.2% year-on-year; the cumulative export for January-August was 1.012 million units, increasing by 46.8% year-on-year. The situation in automobile production is also optimistic. In the first eight months of this year, the production volume was 1.311 million units, increasing by 34.3% year-on-year. Currently, the best-selling cars in the Mexican market include Nissan Tsuru (41,470 units), Volkswagen Jetta (23,579 units), Ford Explorer (16,133 units), Chrysler Voyager (8,765 units), Honda Accord (5,371 units), and Ford Mustang (1,761 units).
