Do not take the elevator casually. Once there's a fire, the power supply to the elevator may be cut off, likely trapping people inside without any means of escape.
Sixth, avoid running around aimlessly.
In a fire, never run around aimlessly, as it could easily lead to being engulfed by flames and also create new fire points, causing the fire to spread. If your clothes catch fire, remove them immediately or roll on the ground to extinguish the flames. Alternatively, pour water over yourself, wrap yourself in a wet blanket or clothing to smother the flames.
Seventh, avoid choosing the wrong direction.
Escape should be from higher to lower areas. When escaping, go from higher floors to lower ones, because fire spreads upward. The flames will burn upward from the bottom to the top of the building. The upward spread speed of the fire in renovated floors is generally faster than the speed at which people can escape upwards. If you cannot reach the rooftop, the flames will surround you. If unavoidable, escape to the rooftop and stand in the upwind direction.
Eighth, avoid jumping from heights lightly.
If the fire breaches the refuge area and makes it impossible to seek refuge, do not make a hasty decision to jump from the building. At this point, you can hold onto the balcony or window sill and flip out of the window to seek survival.
