The secondary school teaching model of ocean thinking: Why does the Yangsi Secondary School create such a miracle?

Over ten years as if it were one day, they have strived to practice this philosophy of education, turning what seemed impossible into reality for Yangsi Secondary School, ultimately succeeding.
This belief was established by Principal Cailin Sen at Yangsi Secondary School. This insight came from his own experience of educating his three children and was unwaveringly implemented during the process of developing ocean thinking in secondary schools, making it what it is today. Principal Cailin Sen has two sons and a daughter; all three children initially had unsatisfactory results in elementary school. The eldest son didn't know numbers and struggled to keep up with classes; the second son, in fourth grade, once scored 68 on an arithmetic test and was the last among 26 students in junior high school. He did not excel in town primary school either, causing teacher Cai Linsen to sigh deeply: "Middle school to middle school."
Duty-bound, Cai Linsen quietly observed the children, patiently waiting. Waiting and waiting, he finally saw them surprise him. Cailin Sen said with a smile: Before going to bed, take time to ask some similar questions, see if the children really understand and grasp them. Every night, he let the children correct their wrong English words themselves, writing them down again, then repeating dictation and checking. On weekends, while riding a bike six miles home, Cai Linsen took the kids, reviewing the week's incorrect subjects along the way and checking again. If wrong, they corrected it. This twenty-mile country road became a classroom where children summarized what they learned each week.
The youngest daughter graduated from Jiaotong University, the second daughter from East China Normal University, and she is now studying in the U.S., while the eldest son received his Ph.D.; the second son graduated from college, joined the party, and became the Chief of Finance at the China Petrochemical Company. A fact of life caused Cailin Sen to reflect: If you treat your own children like this, why not teach each student the same way? What's wrong with this teaching method? This simple idea led Cailin Sen to guide the teachers of ocean thinking in starting an extraordinary great educational experiment, achieving success that seems divine.
At Yangsi School, early opened postures, going all out to play the media posted enrollment being full, we do not accept schools accepting. Not choosing, not finding fault with the students, colleagues appear incredulous, but the ocean think people really do so and why they do?
Cailin Sen explained: For educators, a good student doesn't mean seeing the status quo force. In fact, most students coming to Yangsi don't picky about students, meaning more pay, but also bearing risks. Why do people at ocean thinking dare to do so? Because they believe no students cannot be taught well.
Cailin Sen said: Thinking seems to be work-study schools. Ocean thinking teachers find discomfort hearing this, but Cailin Sen listened happily, telling his teachers: Please don't gasp, it should be proud of fishes. Giving doctors, clinics handle small problems bigger sent to hospitals, incurable diseases depend on expert patients. Parents' reason is usually bad, teaching students to Yangsi thinking, means believing we can teach their children self-confidence, not groundless.
