The 6th Annual MES Conference of China Instrument Society to be Held Next Month

Introduction: From October 13 to 15, the Sixth (2011) China MES Annual Conference hosted by the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) branch of the China Instrument Society will take place in Hangzhou. The theme of the conference is "MES Technology Promoting Deep Integration of Informatization and Industrialization."

From October 13 to 15, the Sixth (2011) China MES Annual Conference hosted by the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) branch of the China Instrument Society will be held in Hangzhou. The theme of the conference is "MES Technology Promoting Deep Integration of Informatization and Industrialization."

The conference will address topics such as MES technology, standards, and development trends; the direction of MES technology development under the low-carbon economic development model; how to use IT technology to help enterprises improve management levels; deep-level demands for MES applications in China's manufacturing industry; and case studies and implementation keys of domestic MES applications. Meanwhile, this annual conference coincides with the end of the five-year term of the first board of the MES society, during which a new board will be elected.

The national "12th Five-Year Plan" clearly proposed to promote the deep integration of informatization and industrialization. To achieve this deep integration, enterprises should build on their partial informatization applications and organically integrate these applications across all parts of the enterprise. As a core technology of enterprise comprehensive automation, the MES system builds a bridge for communication and management between enterprise planning management and production control, making it the core of achieving precise enterprise management. The application of MES technology plays an important role in improving enterprise production efficiency, enhancing product quality, and reducing consumption.
