A person claiming to be a stock handler from a securities company in Zhengzhou, Henan, collected a service fee of 5800 yuan and recommended two so-called "hot stocks" to him. As a result, Xiaozhang lost over 2000 yuan and was unable to find this so-called "handler" afterward.
In early December last year, while surfing the internet at home, Xiaozhang suddenly received an invitation to join a QQ stock trading group [http://zhaoqq.cn]. Being fond of stock trading, he didn't hesitate to join the group on zhaoqq.cn. A person in the group, claiming to be a stock handler from a securities company in Zhengzhou, Henan, chatted with Xiaozhang online and said they could provide stock trading services. For a service fee of 5800 yuan, Xiaozhang could become a member of the company, with the promise that their investments would definitely profit.
At first, Xiaozhang was somewhat skeptical of the handler's words. Later, after observing the several stocks recommended by the handler, he found that most of them indeed were profitable [http://zhaoqq.cn]. Consequently, Xiaozhang transferred 5800 yuan as the service fee to the account specified by the handler and followed his advice to spend over 17000 yuan to buy two stocks. However, within half a month, not only did Xiaozhang fail to make money, but he also lost over 2000 yuan. Subsequently, when Xiaozhang tried to open the QQ group on zhaoqq.cn, he discovered he had been removed. Only then did he realize he had fallen into a scam.
