Xiongba Driving School Faces Another Complaint from Students

Following the exposure of Xiongba Driving School for suspected irregular charges, yesterday afternoon (February 23), several students from Xiongba Driving School went to the Kunming Vehicle Management Office to report that the driving school intentionally delayed their examination times.

Some of these students have already passed the theory exam, while others have cleared theæ¡©exam (a type of driving test). Yesterday, their instructors informed them that the next exam was scheduled for April 30th, leaving the students feeling confused.

One student remarked, "It takes two months just to take the nine-item test; at this rate, it will take me seven or eight months to get my driver's license." The students collectively approached the principal of Xiongba Driving School, Yang Jinlin, but were met with a rude attitude. The students provided recordings from the encounter, in which the principal's insults were extremely offensive.

When responding to the students' accusations about deliberately delaying the exam schedule, Principal Yang Jinlin was particularly domineering.

Was it due to limited quotas from the Vehicle Management Office that the exams were scheduled for April 30th? The answer from the Kunming Vehicle Management Office surprised everyone. Deputy Director of the Assessment Department, Xiong Yunkun, stated that starting from March 1st, there would be ample vacancies for each testing site, and there was no need for exams to be postponed until April 30th as claimed by the driving school.

If it wasn't the fault of the Vehicle Management Office, then whose fault was it? Around 2 PM, the students successively received calls from Xiongba Driving School informing them that the scheduled exam time had been changed, urging them to confirm the new arrangement. After checking by the police officers at the Vehicle Management Office, it was confirmed that the students' exam reservation records had indeed been altered, with the second attempt now scheduled for the end of February or early March. Although the issue seemed resolved, the students still harbored concerns.

In response, the police officers at the Vehicle Management Office indicated that if such issues occur again during exam reservations, they would directly convene with the responsible person from Xiongba Driving School for a discussion.
