From 5 am yesterday to 5 am today, only eastern Tibet, western Sichuan Plateau, and western Guizhou experienced snow or sleet of 1-4 millimeters; some areas in western Guizhou saw freezing rain. Just as the cold air "turned away", central and eastern regions began to experience a "temperature rise", especially in the northern areas. According to the actual data at 2 pm yesterday, compared with the same time the day before, temperatures in most parts of the north rose by 3~6℃. The temperatures in southern Hebei, Henan, and southern Shaanxi have all risen to above 5℃, while the temperatures in the Beijing-Tianjin region have also returned to above 0℃. Under the sunshine, people generally felt warm. In contrast, in the south, the majority experienced a temperature drop. However, in the Huai River and Yangtze River areas, northern Jiangnan, western Guangxi, and Chongqing, Guizhou and other places, the temperature drop was relatively small, decreasing by about 2℃ compared to 2 pm the day before. The strongest temperature drop mainly concentrated in southwestern Sichuan and eastern Yunnan, with temperatures generally dropping by 5~8℃, and in some areas even by 10~16℃, according to China Meteorological News. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that today, the rain will still be present in the southwestern region, with some areas in southeastern Tibet, northwestern Jiangnan, eastern and southwestern regions, eastern and northern Yunnan, Guangxi, Hainan, and other places experiencing light rain or showers, and some areas in northwestern Yunnan may see moderate rain. In terms of temperature, today, most parts of the country will maintain an upward trend in temperature, with significant warming in the eastern part of the northwest, the northwestern part of North China, and the central part of Northeast China, with a general increase of 4~8℃. The highest temperature above 0℃ will extend northward to western Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi, and most parts of Liaoning, while the area with temperatures above 10℃ will expand northward to Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, and other central regions. It is worth noting that affected by the southward cold air, over the next two days, there will be a 4~5 level northerly wind in central and eastern Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang, accompanied by a temperature drop of 4~8℃, with local drops of 10~12℃, and some areas may experience light to moderate snowfall. Experts remind that recently, with continuous clear and warming weather in the north, the air is dry, and while enjoying the good weather, people should also pay attention to replenishing water and maintaining humidity.
