3. Darrell Green played cornerback for the Washington Redskins. It is reported that in 1986 during team training camp with the Redskins, he achieved an amazing result of 4.09 seconds (40 yards). In an interview, he mentioned his personal best for the 40-yard dash was 4.15 seconds.
4. Deion Sanders, who during 1989-2005, played for five different NFL teams. His 40-yard dash time was 4.21 seconds. He holds the NFL defensive record for interceptions 19 times, has been to the All-Star game 8 times, and was named Defensive Player of the Year.
5. Ike Taylor, cornerback, currently plays for the active GangRen team. Despite not being invited to rookie investigation training camp, his unofficial 40-yard dash time was reportedly 4.18 seconds (ShouJiShi).
6. Renaldo Nehemiah played with the San Francisco 49ers from 1982-84. Nehemiah held the world record for the 110m hurdles and was the first athlete to run under 13 seconds, holding the top rank for four consecutive years.
7. Willie Gault played as an outside receiver in the 1980s to early 90s with the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Raiders, and other teams. He was a 110m hurdler and anchor man for the 4*100m relay team, helping set a world record at that time. If not for the U.S. boycott of the 1980 Moscow Games, he likely would have competed in the Olympics.
8. Cliff Branch played as an outside receiver from 1972-1985 with the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders. He was a four-time All-Star known for his ability to accelerate past defenders, finishing his career with 8,600 receiving yards and 67 touchdowns.

Trindon Holliday, now with the Houston Texans, during rookie investigation training camp in 2010, ESPN reported his 40-yard dash time as 4.22 seconds, though the official NFL website lists times of 4.27 and 4.32 seconds. In the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he finished with a time of 10.07 seconds in the 100m, just behind current world sprinter Tyson Gay who placed second.
