IEC Industrial Wireless Coexistence Working Group Meeting Held in Shenyang
The IEC Industrial Wireless Coexistence Working Group meeting was recently held in Shenyang. With the application of wireless technology in industrial fields, how various wireless technologies can coexist in a shared environment has become an important issue in the industrial wireless domain, attracting widespread attention. The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Technical Committee 65 (TC65) Industrial Wireless Coexistence Working Group (WG17) is currently engaged in the development of the IEC 62657 series of industrial wireless coexistence standards.
In this context, the Shenyang Institute of Automation, commissioned by the IEC, recently hosted the IEC/TC65/WG17 working group meeting. The meeting was attended by over a dozen experts from companies and organizations such as Siemens, Henghe, Toshiba, Italian CEI, Magdeburg Institute for Automation and Communication, and the Instrumentation and Control Technology and Economics Research Institute of the Machinery Industry.
Mr. Rudy Belliard, Secretary of IEC/TC65 from Schneider Electric, also attended the meeting specifically to discuss follow-up standardization work of WIA technology within the IEC framework and cooperation with Schneider Electric with relevant personnel from the Shenyang Institute of Automation.
During the meeting, the attending experts visited the exhibition hall of achievements at the Shenyang Institute of Automation, the Industrial Wireless Network Laboratory, and Bowei Company. During the visit, the experts engaged in exchanges and discussions with researchers from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, expressing their intention to further strengthen mutual exchanges and cooperation.
