Lenovo to acquire Fujitsu Siemens to rival Acer Computers

Yang Yuanqing, chairman of the Legend Group, said that they are seeking M&A opportunities to take back the world's third largest personal computer (PC) company position which was taken away by Acer in the second half of last year. Last year, their plan to enter the European market was frustrated because Acer took the lead to acquire Packard Bell. This time, the likely target is Fujitsu Siemens.
